Bringing East Asia to Battle Creek
Suipi’s East End Eatery serves a variety of classic Eastern Asian favorites, from Vietnamese pho (broth-based soup) and sushi bowls with fresh vegetables and fish to traditional stir-fried meals followed by Asian-inspired desserts. Eastern Asian flavor influences from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, North Korea, South Korea, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, and Myanmar (Burma) will be used in the menu. Asian flavors are primarily used in lunch and dinner dishes. However, specialty Burmese and Indian-inspired breakfast items will be a unique differentiator over competitors. Serving traditional American breakfast will help attract non-Asian people to experience Suipi’s to provide familiarity with the menu items. The goal is to build trust with customers by serving foods they know and love and create trust to be comfortable enough to return to try new Asian flavors.
